Color correcting is the process of adjusting colors in an artwork to achieve accurate and realistic representations, often by modifying hue, saturation, brightness, or contrast.
Saturation: Saturation refers to the intensity or purity of a color. Increasing saturation makes colors more vivid, while decreasing it makes them less intense.
White Balance: White balance is the adjustment made to ensure that white appears neutral under different lighting conditions, preventing color casts.
Tint/Shade/Tone: These terms describe variations of a color. Tint is created by adding white, shade by adding black, and tone by adding gray.
