The derivative of velocity with respect to time. It represents the rate of change of velocity over time.
Imagine you are driving a car and your speedometer shows how fast you're going. If you look at the speedometer every second, the change in speed (dv) divided by the change in time (dt) gives you your acceleration.
Velocity: The rate at which an object changes its position.
Acceleration: The rate at which an object changes its velocity.
Derivative: A mathematical tool used to find rates of change or slopes of curves.
