A firearm where the bullet or shell is inserted or loaded into a chamber integral to the rear portion of a barrel.
Muzzle-Loading Rifle: A type of firearm that is loaded through the muzzle, or front end, of the gun.
Rifling: The process of making helical grooves in the barrel of a gun or firearm, which imparts a spin to a projectile around its long axis.
Cartridge: A pre-assembled package containing everything needed to fire a shot from one artillery piece or firearm.
