Definition

Discrimination is the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people, especially on the grounds of race, age, sex, or disability.

Prejudice: This refers to preconceived opinion not based on reason or actual experience. It's like assuming all students without glasses don't enjoy reading books.

Stereotyping: This is a widely held but fixed and oversimplified image or idea about a particular type of person or thing. It's like thinking all basketball players are tall.

Racism: Racism is prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior. In our analogy, it would be believing that students with glasses are smarter than those without.
