The French flag - also known as "Le Tricolore" - is the national flag of France. It consists of three vertical stripes of equal width, colored blue, white and red.
Bastille Day: This is a holiday in France that celebrates the storming of Bastille prison during French Revolution; it's often associated with display of French flag.
French Revolution: A period in late 18th century France where there were social and political upheaval leading to establishment of modern political ideologies; tricolor became symbol for revolutionaries.
