Definition
Liberalism is a political philosophy advocating for civil liberties under the rule of law with an emphasis on economic freedom.
Analogy
Imagine liberalism as your school's student council where rules are made democratically by representatives who value individual rights and freedoms. They also believe that students should have more control over their own lunch money (economic freedom).
