Survival refers to an organism's ability to sustain itself physically and adaptively in order to continue existing in its environment despite challenges such as competition for resources or changing conditions.
Natural Selection: Natural selection is a process in which organisms with favorable traits are more likely to survive and reproduce successfully than those without those traits. It is a key mechanism driving evolution.
Carrying Capacity: Carrying capacity refers to the maximum number of individuals that an environment can support without degrading its resources. It determines how many organisms can survive in a given area.
Adaptation: Adaptation is the process by which organisms adjust to their environment through physical or behavioral changes over generations. It increases their chances of survival and reproduction.
