Reasoning is the process of using logical thinking and evidence to support a claim or reach a conclusion.
Think of reasoning as building a sturdy bridge. Just like a bridge needs strong pillars and supports to connect two points, reasoning requires solid evidence and logical connections to link ideas together.
Evidence: Facts, data, or information that supports a claim.
Logic: The use of reason and rationality to make valid arguments.
Inference: A conclusion drawn from evidence or reasoning.
