First-Person Narration

Definition

First-person narration is when a story is told from the perspective of a character within the story, using pronouns like "I" and "me." It allows readers to experience events through the eyes of that character.

Analogy

Imagine you're watching a movie where the camera is attached to one character's head. You see everything they see, hear what they hear, and feel what they feel. That's first-person narration!
