The level of transposition refers to shifting all the pitches in a piece of music up or down by the same interval. This changes the key but maintains the same relationships between pitches.
Key Signature: A key signature indicates which notes are sharp or flat throughout an entire piece of music and helps determine its key.
Modulation: Modulation occurs when there is a change in key within a piece of music.
Enharmonic Equivalent: Enharmonic equivalents are different names for the same pitch. For example, C# (C sharp) and Db (D flat) are enharmonic equivalents.
